As well as the units available for purchase, MCCT offers 11 comfortable units available to those aged 55 and over, to rent.
These units were built by the local council and eventually acquired by MCCT as a community initiative, providing affordable stable housing for seniors in a supportive friendly village-style setting.
We were thrilled that each unit recently was enhanced with the installation of a heat pump and other ventilation to meet the national ‘Healthy Home’ standards. These are very popular and become a long term home, enabling our pensioners to transition to increased care within Riverview should this be necessitated by health needs in later years.
